Cowon A3

How about movie player, music player, photo gallery, office for documents, file browser, mobile tv, radio, recorder all at a same place. I can’t believe a portable video player has all these things in it. It’s just not a video player; it’s a lot than that. To experience the difference you should experience your good time with COWON A3 portable video player. COWON A3 has a highest screen resolution of 800 by 480 than any other portable devices and supports almost all file formats. But you know that every one and every thing is not a perfect one. And it has also some of the disadvantages. It does not support any of the Windows Media file. It is a file containing audio, video, or script data that is stored in Windows Media Format.
Depending on their content and purpose, Windows Media files use a variety of file name extensions, such as: .wma, .wme, .wms, .wmv, .wmx, .wmz, or .wvx. But it offers DivX 6.0 format support. It offers miniature joystick navigation to scroll easily up and down. Though I felt it to be replaced by flexible and little bigger joystick steering than older version.
Again the most thing I loved about it is, its built-in video recording capability and a high-quality video output which will sure put all the other competitors such as the Archos 605 WiFi and Creative Zen Vision W, far behind though it has its weakness in supporting for video and music download services. Mostly we use to rip the digital video and their content from DVDs or pull it off our computer-based DVR systems. File collector who’s putting down $399 for a 60GB portable video player isn’t buying DRM-wrapped movies from CinemaNow at $15 a pop. Still, it would be nice if Cowon offered the option. I know that A3 is technically and qualitatively more superior to any other competitors like Archos. Do you know Wi-Fi? Its our bad luck that Cowon don’t have this facility. So, the most competitive rivals Archos is selling their 160GB Wi-Fi-enabled PVP, the 605 WiFi, for the same $399 price as Cowon’s 60GB. These stuffs have some highlighted advantages like increased storage, touch-screen interface, and Wi-Fi capabilities. Crossing fingers, let’s hope it would be nice if Cowon A3 addresses these short-comings in its future.
