My mobile is my darling. I take it wherever I go; it’s my life because it is Nokia N73. It’s not just a cell phone to me; it’s my digital camera, my I-pod, my USB pen drive, my photo album, my video gallery, my media player and last but not least my walking internet explorer. I would rather like it to call my Palmtop.

What’s new in Nokia N73??? N73 has 3.2 mega pixels camera with Carl Zeiss optics with zoom in and out buttons. It also has another VGA secondary camera in front. Nokia N73 has a special click button for capturing images. Press halfway to focus and press fully to capture the images and I always share it with my friends, family through mms, Bluetooth and infrared. I can connect a compatible printer to my mobile using Bluetooth connectivity or cable connection, tag images for printing and print one image at a time or all the images. N73 can capture unlimited video clips (depends on memory card) in both .3gp and .mp4 format. One single click is enough to access to photos and clips stored in gallery. I love to organize my photos in albums; watch their slide shows with music. It’s too easy to transfer photos and videos to a compatible PC. It is also Adobe Photoshop Album compatible. There are six methods available for transferring files to your phone i.e. USB cable, Bluetooth, IR (beaming), Memory card reader, E-mail attachments and MMS messages.

Another reason behind my attraction towards N73 is its full stereo sound. I mostly enjoy listening to my favorite music anywhere anytime. It connects easily with the PC and just drag and drop will transfer them. I mostly create and edit my own track lists. Just use the facility of multi-tasking; use other applications even while playing music.

If you don’t know, N73 has two browsers: Web and Services. The Web browser is optimized for regular web pages (www), whereas the Services browser is great for mobile content (wap). Browse your favorite web sites while on the move. Experience the Internet with two browsers with large 320×240 screens for convenient browsing with page overview for quick scrolling. Simply visual history with thumbnails helps navigation. The Search function highlights the closest matches as you type. And subscribe easily RSS news feeds, read the latest headlines of e.g. blogs. It adds a touch of personality. Data transfer brings you content from your old Nokia phone – for example, contacts and images. With removable memory cards, you always have enough storage space for your music and images. You can enable 3-D sound effects for ringing tones. Note that not all ringing tones support it.

Nokia N73 is just like your mini office with you in your pocket. Nokia N73 has Macromedia® Flash Player; you can view, play, and interact with animated flash files made for mobile devices. Nokia N73 has Quick Office for Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word of Microsoft Office 97, 2000, XP, and 2003 documents (*.doc, *.xls and *.ppt) to view. But not all file formats or features are supported. Nokia N73 has got Nokia Lifeblog which automatically collects your photos, videos, sound, messages and blog posts into a single diary you can easily browse, share, store and search. Nokia N73 got Adobe PDF Reader, you can view a PDF file stored in Phone memory or Memory card, or in an e-mail message, or in your Messaging Inbox.

You can create custom video clips by adding audio, text and images to video clips stored. You can also cut as well as combine multiple video clips in one custom video. The video clips are automatically saved in the gallery. Other features include calculator, converter, notepad, radio, clock, calendar, recorder and many more. Nokia N73 uses S60 software on Symbian OS (S60 3rd Edition). In application manager, you can install or remove Java™ and other applications compatible with the Symbian operating system. You can receive software installation packages in e-mail or mms or transfer them from a compatible PC. Or you can simply download and install software installation packages from the web. The connection remains on in the background during installation. I’ve installed Blacklist, Answering Machine, Call Recorder, Full Screen Caller, Mobile Handy Zip, Mobile MSN, etc. This is a great mobile to have.
