HP Pavilion tx2000z series

I’ve been looking to buy a laptop for myself. I’ve been surfing in the internet a lot and trying to get the best deal (minimum price for the top level configuration). Still, I haven’t had much of luck with my findings.
HP Pavilion tx2000z series is a cool Notebook actually with its new “Echo” inlaid design and light weight (4.3 lb) ultra portability feature. It has all that you need - a 12.1″ (diagonal) high-definition touch screen and it optimizes handwriting capture: you simply write on it with a dockable/rechargeable eraser pen without need of any batteries. And, the screen twists for easy viewing of documents and movies in cramped spaces. Cool huh?
Some other features of this notebook are:
- The tx2000z is equipped with powerful AMD Turion 64 X2 dual-core processors with HyperTransport technology. This improves system performance when running multiple applications. It has also been stated that these processors also supply enhanced virus protection as well as PowerNow for longer battery life.
- The high-definition, spacious 12.1″ diagonal display on this compact notebook means comfortable viewing that won’t strain your eyes.
- Swipe your finger across the optional integrated reader on the side of the panel to log on to your tx2000z and password-protected Web sites and documents.
- The tx2000z features the same finish as our other new Pavilion notebooks: a high-gloss black case with inlaid “Echo” pattern.
- You get 802.11b/g wireless LAN standard with these models, or you can upgrade to 802.11a/b/g.

These are just few of its feature. This sleazy looking notebook comes with a base configuration of price $1,299.99* which you can configure according to your need. Personally, I think it’s a great laptop but still can’t afford it. Dell’s Vostro 1500 with almost same configuration comes in a lot cheaper. But it fails to match the style and class of HP. My search is still on. Hope I’m not just wasting my time.
