NetBeans IDE 6.5 Available For Download

Now as I’ve grown into a full-time blogger, I don’t actually have time for coding but to all those who don’t think coding as a boring job might be happy with the news that NetBeans IDE 6.5 is now available for download.

NetBeans is a platform and IDE (Integrated Development Environment) for development of Java desktop applications. And about NetBeans IDE 6.5, it offers simplified and rapid development of web, enterprise, desktop, and mobile applications with PHP, JavaScript, Java, C/C++, Ruby, and Groovy.

Some new features added:

A robust IDE for PHP
JavaScript debugging for Firefox and IE
support for Groovy and Grail

Also NetBeans IDE 6.5 delivers a number of enhancements for Java, Ruby on Rails, and C/C++ development. There is built-in support for Hibernate, Eclipse project import, and compile on save too. Oohh!!! I forgot to wish Happy Birthday to Firefox. Today, when I checked the Firefox blog, only then did I found out the on 9th Nov it turned 4. Ayways, happy belated B’Day to Firefox. Four years ago, the very same day Mozilla announced the release of Firefox 1.0 and it has been my pleasure browsing this extensive internet with it by my side. Though I forgot to wish it on 9th Nov, still I haven’t forgotten my friend and to express my gratitude to the best web browser in this world I have a cake just for you.
Well, it’s just a picture of cake. What did you thought??? Firefox doesn’t like eating cake but I had to give it to it… c’mon it’s his birthday…

Nintendo Wii-Revolutionizing The Gaming World

I don’t spend much of my time in computer games. It’s not that I am not a gamer because I am…I mean I love to play computer games but I really don’t have time to play. All I play is small flash games in my computers but still I’d love to get my hands on Nintendo’s Wii which is gaining big popularity nowadays.
I have heard of other popular gaming consoles like Sony’s PlayStation and Microsoft’s Xbox too but as I am an internet geek and after all the browsing through and surfing in the net, I came to the conclusion that I’d like to have Nintendo Wii rather than its other competing seventh generation consoles PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360. The reason needless to say is the Wii Remote (wireless controller), which can be used as a handheld pointing device and detect movement in three dimensions. PS3 and Xbox were the leaders of the game consoles but Wii has gained sudden popularity and given them a big headache.
The game which I am looking forward to play is Wii fit. I have heard a lot about this exercise game which consists of different activities utilizing the Wii Balance Board peripheral and about it probably being the year’s most popular game.

A sigh of relief!!! I did what even Microsoft and Yahoo together couldn’t do. Yeppie!!! Last time I wrote about Google trying to mess with me…actually the title was ‘Google Is Bullying Me’ but anyways both give the same meaning, don’t they. In that post I had threatened Mr. Google that if this thing he/she whomever was trying to do with me doesn’t stop, I’ll start an anti-google blog…hehe . Result as you all can see, my PR is back to 2. Google must have been really scared. Huhaaaa. How could it even think it could get away with something serious like that? Nay nay nay !!! I wouldn’t have let it go so easily…you messed with a wrong person dude. Never thought it would be so hard for you huh???
Ahhhh !!! I feel like the king of the world now. Feels so proud of myself. I think Google might give me PR4-5 in the next update. Am so happy today!!!

Google Is Bullying Me

Few weeks ago I wrote a post on Google’s PR Update. I think Google didn’t liked my post and the result as you can see, the PR of this blog is a big “ZERO” now. I don’t know what to say. It hasn’t been even a month Google updated the page ranks and what Google updated the PR again??? Till when will this harassment of Google continue. I don’t understand, one is free to say anything … aren’t we??? I haven’t said any bad words to anyone, so why is Google penalizing me. Google really seems to not like me. Why me, whyyyyy ????

Beware of using other’s software!!!

I am a big fan of Mig33 software. It’s nothing but an IM just like MSN or Yahoo messenger but has some other extra features too. One of the fascinating things about mig33 chat rooms is that we can kick other user which is only if certain number of people agrees for the kick. But the problem is that within the time frame if other users also don’t kick the intended id, s/he will survive the kick and will be safe for some time.

So, this is when I went on looking for software that would make sure that intended person is kicked because it’s not only about the time but also you credit gets deducted with start of a kick. Anyways after much search I found a software that would solve this problem. POKEA was just what I needed. With it I could login from multiple ids and then enter the chatrooms in a sec and do mass flooding. Also I could target an id and kick it in a second using my logged in ids. I was very satisfied with this software but I didn’t know that I had fallen into a trap. Next day when I tried to login in mig33, it said my password was invalid. Same was the answer to all my other ids. I hadn’t given my password to anyone and before I used this software this had never happened to me. It was a shock that the passwords of my 20 mig33 ids were changed. Then I realized that this POKEA developer must have injected some code in the program that my password must have been saved to their database and then it was just a matter of time they comfortably changed my password to whatever they wanted. Thank god that mig33 has that feature of sending the password to the mobile no. and also I had the same number till now to revive the password. Also the password of other ids were had been changed to the same password, so I could change the passwords and revive my ids else it would have been a disaster for me. They could have done anything with my ids and even could have created misunderstandings between me and my buddies.

So, what everyone should understand is that before downloading free softwares and using them one should beware of the consequences it could bring. They may be spreading virus or even leaking your precious data.

Now this is one of the benefits of having a tech blog. I got a mail few days ago from Uniblue.com about the release of their new product DriverScanner 2009.
